Women's Ministry Summer Bible Study

Womens Summer Bible Study
I just wanted to let all of you know since we had such a great time last summer, we are planning on doing a summer drop-in style Women's bible study open to all women! Tanya Wyma and Karen Rissmann will be facilitating the study and it will meet in the church courtyard (unless it rains and we will move inside) on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:15 a.m. starting June 7. The study we will be doing is a Fruit of the Spirit on Peace. Jennie is working hard at finding childcare as we plan on having it available for anybody who would like to participate. Please invite anyone you think might be interested. We will make books available for pick up at Lifeway, but please feel free to come any if you haven't picked up a book. Upcoming Sermons
OIn Sunday, May 23, Pastor Keith begins a series of three messages titled "What I believe." The messages will teach the basics of the Christian faith as summarized in first question and answer of the Heidelberg Catechism (May 13 & 20, June 10). Pastor Steve is preaching on Pentecost Sunday, May 27. Kari is preaching on June 3. On Father's Day, June 17, Pastor Keith begins a series of eight messages on the petitions of the Lord's Prayer.

Jr High Ministry - Live
	Looking for something fun every week? If you are in 7th or 8th grade LIVE is the place to get plugged in. Join us every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 in the youth room. We have a blast playing crazy games, hanging out with friends and learning about God’s amazing ways. LIVE meets September through May.

High School - Element
	Do you crave a place to hang out with old friends and make new ones? Do you need a place where you can work through questions about life and faith? Then Element is the place for you! We will challenge one another to grow in faith and encourage one another to live for Christ. Come join us on Wednesday nights, 7:00-8:30 in the youth room. Element meets September through May.

Calendar of Events
	We like to mix things up for the summer. LIVE, Element and Sunday School take a break as we host several other events and service opportunities that fit the summer schedule. There will be ultimate Frisbee, Silverwood, Marniers game, Camp Spalding, and a mission trip.

Sunday Mornings
	Jr High and High School students meet in the Youth Room at 9:45 on Sunday Mornings. We usually begin with a bit of worship or a brief game. We hear Biblical teachings from a variety of teachers, participate in small group discussion, and pray for our community. Sunday School meets September through May

Opportunities to Serve
	Are you interested in building relationships with Jr High and High School students? There are several ways that you impact the lives of students and serve the youth ministry at Whitworth Community Presbyterian Church.
